The 2nd and 3rd grade students are working hard on their blogs.  Why blog?  Blogging is an amazing tool to help students share ideas, reflect on learning and strengthen overall publishing skills.  One reasons students enjoy blogging is because their ideas reach a real audience who will respond to their blog posts.

*

Students also practice making smart and safe choices while publishing online.  Kidblog is a nice first blogging experience because all posts/comments have to be approved before they are published online.  This system is perfect for guidance, individualized lessons and discussions with students before they publish online.

We are working on embedding graphics, editing/formatting text, managing files online and answering comments from students and teachers.
